Preview of the Next CTPC Meeting |
March 23, 2010 - 6:30 p.m. |
Our subject for this meeting will be the latest upgrade to Picasa. Picasa 3.6 is a free application in Google that provides for the capability of downloading photos from your Digital Camera, organizing content, setting up albums, adjustment of photo elements, red eye removal etc.
The latest upgrade adds the features of nametags on photos and making collaborative albums. The speaker this evening will be Earl Eschweiler a highly experienced teacher of photo handling programs at the Norwalk Senior Center. Earl has been teaching the various versions of Picasa for many years as well as Photoshop Elements for restoration and enhancement of photographs.
Don’t miss this presentation as it will familiarize you with this application and allow you to set up, organize and archive your family photographs as well as share them with friends and relatives.
The meeting begins with "Random Access," a discussion of all things digital hosted by Richard Frisch, and concludes with our traditional Pizza SIG at Uncle Joe's.
