All About the iPad

The iPad is a versatile and popular tablet computer and mobile device that has outsold the iPhone 2 to 1. On March 2nd, Apple announced the long awaited updated iPad 2.

Jonathan Brown, a new and enthusiastic iPad user will give us a power point presentation and a demo of the iPad. He will also discuss the differences from a PC, what it can do and the newly announced features. Our March 22nd meeting will be held at a new location - the Silver Star Diner at Exit 14 off I-95 in Norwalk (detailed directions are here). Walt Graham and Dick Booth have visited and made arrangements with the Diner. As usual, the meeting will begin at 6:30 pm. and last until 8:30 p.m.

We think the Silver Star will be a good place to meet. They have offered us the large dinging room (to the right and around the corner from the main dining area) at no charge in exchange for part of the group staying for pizza and refreshments. It's a very comfortable and quiet space with WiFi and a large screen TV that we can use as a monitor.

We hope you will join us for what promises to be a good program in this new venue, and hope you'll plan to stay for dinner or a light repast as this will help compensate the restaurant for our use of the room.
