Preview of the Next CTPC Meeting |

The August CTPC meeting scheduled for August 23rd has been cancelled. Do plan to join us at the Silver Star diner on Tuesday, September 27th for our next meeting. Finding and scheduling programs is a process with many moving parts and they don’t always come together and work as planned.
We maintain a page on the CTPC website listing past meetings going back to July 1996. That’s about 180 months. Even discounting the fact that we don’t have meetings in December that still leaves a possible 165 meeting dates. In that time we’ve been snowed out 3 times (surprisingly, the last time was back in January, 2004). Not that we haven’t endured some bad weather that kept some folks at home but I don’t believe we cancelled any other meetings. We’ve cancelled a July or August meeting twice before. We have had our presenters cancel at the last minute twice in those years forcing us to go with a general discussion.
Overall, a very impressive record and a testament to the CTPC members who have had a hand in setting up the programs over the years (and, in many cases, presenting them too).

Our meeting begins at 6:30 PM and will last until 8:30 PM. Meetings are held at the Silver Star Diner, 210 Connecticut Ave. in Norwalk ( Exit 14 on I-95) We encourage you to remain after the meeting for some socializing and to have Pizza, Salad and the refreshment of your choice at the Silver Star. Costs are normally less than $14/person. They are allowing us to use the facility at “no charge” and we think they deserve some benefit for their generosity.
