Preview of the Next CTPC Meeting

Home Automation
Our subject for the October, 2011 meeting will be “ Home Automation”. We are
pleased to have Andy Rabinowitz from our sister club “The PC Users Group of CT”
(www.TPCUG-CT.org) in Trumbull, CT as our
speaker on this very interesting subject. Andy has a Home Automation system in
his home. He will describe the reasons for installing this system as well as the
advantages in having it as well as technical aspects, installation and cost.
Control of light, home audio, communication, saving energy and security are all
available with these systems. What do you do about integration of these
features? Come to the CTPC meeting on October 25, 2011 and learn from an
experienced user of Home Automation.
Our meeting begins at 6:30 PM and will last until 8:30 PM. Meetings are held at the Silver Star Diner, 210 Connecticut Ave. in Norwalk ( Exit 14 on
I-95) We encourage you to remain after the meeting for some socializing and to
have Pizza, Salad and the refreshment of your choice at the Silver Star. Costs
are normally less than $14/person. They are allowing us to use the facility at “no charge” and we think they deserve some benefit for their generosity.
