There is a symbiotic relationship between user groups and vendors. The APCUG and its member groups rely on vendors to support their activities, provide free/reduced-cost software, provide presenters and so on.Vendors hope the group members will buy and use their products.

It does seem reasonable that as user groups we should "go the extra mile" for vendors who are supportive of our efforts. One of the things the APCUG provides is an internet listserve which allows approved vendors to e-mail participating user group officers. I joined this listserve when I took on the editor's job for CPC.

I thought I would create this online area where we can post vendor press releases about their products. The list above will just sort of grow over time. I will try to weed things out as they go stale. Simply click on a link to go directly to the article/news release  that talks about that item.
